As part of the official launch of the Resonate, Reverberate, Roar (Re-Re-Roar) website, Elana Mann held an event at KCHUNG radio 1630 am on Sunday November 3, from 1:30-3:00pm in Chinatown, Los Angeles, CA. In this last part of the program Elana interviewed John Tain, a radio enthusiast and art historian, about the influence of radio in spreading sounds of resistance. The first part of the program, which can be found at Second Re-Re-Roar Launch Event at KCHUNG Radio 1630 AM (Part 1), included a live poetry performance from Andrew Choate, a sound piece by Konrad Smolenski and Vincent Ramos called Nov 22 ’63, and a pre-recorded interview by Audrey Chan of her Grandmother and Father speaking about contemporary politics in the United States and the Communist Revolution in China. This event was the second of three launch events for Re-Re-Roar in the fall of 2013.
